The G-wagen Rockmeister™ is a heavy duty rock slider for all W463’s from 1991 to 2018 Model Year (except AMG G55/G63 models). 

Ready to bolt on Touch Down Protection, this full size G Wagon Rockmeister™ rock slider system protects the rocker panels as well as the expensive stainless steel exhaust parts of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, especially the G500 with its dual exhaust.

The G Wagen rock slider utilizes the mounting holes for the factory running boards in the W463's body frame and extends down to the main chassis frame elevation protecting the exhaust.

Our optional Aluminum Side Steps/Running Boards or Rocker Panel Guards can be easily mounted to these rock sliders as a sturdy side protection.

It is possible to retain the use of the factory Running Boards/Steps thanks to the modular rock slider design.
Just purchase our optional RB-Hardware Kit, to re-install your existing OEM running boards to our G-Wagon Rockmeister rock slider.


Black textured powder coat is the standard finish.

VTS-7117 for G Wagen W463 from 1990 to 2001 the left slider is shorter, due to the exhaust tailpipe protruding out to the side.

These heavy duty Gelandewagen Rock Sliders can be mounted to the W460/461 G-wagen after installing the VTS-7135 Rocker Panel Upgrade Kit.

Awesome Rock Sliders!!!

I just purchased these awesome rock sliders for my 2017 G550.

I had removed the running boards from the truck because I hate the way they look.

Unfortunately, without the running boards the entire exhaust system under the truck is totally exposed.

These rails protect the area as well as look great!

The install was super easy and took about an hour each but I tend to work very slowly.

They pop right into the existing mounting holes on the chassis that the running boards mounted to.

The rock Sliders were of very high manufacturing quality and super beefy.

Highly recommended!

Rock sliders

The rock sliders fit perfectly to my 2002 G500 and they look great! Nice solid bars. I’m very pleased with this product. This is my first purchase from Gwagen Accessories and the process from the start through shipping and delivery was fast and seamless. Than you!

Excellent product, fit and finish was great. My only suggestion would be to make left and right markings on the sliders themselves as it took a bit of swapping around to figure which side was which.

Rock solid sliders

These are great and very low key. Installed on both my Gs, one with sill protectors and one with the OEM side steps. For the G with side steps you can't even tell they are there.

Worked great for my trip to Colorado

I purchased these sliders for my 02 G500 and they held up pretty well on all the “red trails” in Colorado. The G500 has great clearance from the factory surprisingly and the sliders definitely gave it the protection it needed
