This Aluminum Serpentine Belt Idler Pulley with replaceable Ball Bearing was German engineered for the Mercedes-Benz M113 series engines in the G500 Geländewagen G500 1998 - 2008.
Unlike the original OEM Mercedes-Benz plastic pulley, the all Aluminum Idler Pulley is precision machined from super strong aerospace aluminum.
It features a serviceable ball bearing, rated to 18,000 rpm, which is retained by a snap ring, and can be replaced if needed.
Do not get stranded by a broken cheap plastic part!
The aluminum idler pulley is a much more durable part than the OEM plastic pulley, as embraced by the Baja 1000 racers as well as by the Overland Traveler folks.
Please Note:
The existing Mercedes-Benz mounting bolt (A 112 990 01 12) and dust cap (A 001 988 57 35) are still being used to complete this essential upgrade installation - a detailed install manual is included.
