Checking out the new 2019 G-Wagen in Detroit

Curiosity struck and Karl had to go see for himself what all the buzz was about.  Last weekend he braced the cold and booked a quick 3 day journey to Detroit. 

It has been 38 years since the first G-wagen appeared, and now, the new updated model has arrived. Yes, even with all the serious design changes, it will be still called a W463 (for now).

First off, it is a different vehicle, but this G-wagen is simply beautiful and Mercedes kept some lines true to the old statesman we have grown to love and appreciate.

Time will tell, if this beauty will capture the hearts of the serious enthusiasts.
